Where have we been?

February 21, 2010 by Admin   Comments (0)

where, have, we, been, blog, update, chat, system

Alot of people have been sending us mail regarding updates and what not - no one got a reply, nor did we send responses through the site. This was due to the simply fact that we had problems with our servers and computers, these unwanted issues, have, however, been resolved and opperations should resume as normal.

Our initial plan with todays 'blog' or 'update' was to include our new 'chat system' which will be explained within our next blog post or main update later today.

1.5.33 (Security) Update

February 10, 2010 by Admin   Comments (0)

warpz, 1.5.33, security, update

As usual we have our new update ready and implemented.

This update was to simply try and stop the use of BOTS and CRAWLERS over our site. Although, mainly visited through virtual environments posed as mobile devices, we have captured a selected few from confirmed PC/MAC/Linux Browsers - IP's Logged and Reports Filed, this wasn't enough. So we have introduced our new system called the 'Warpz S-Mate'. Which, coincidently, uses a similar system to other PHP related social networks, although ours has been specifically designed to NEVER be broken.

This should NOT affect loading times or your personal experiance here at warpz, so sit back, relax and enjoy every moment of your safer environment.

The Warpz Team

simple, update, new, theme, iphone, ipod, development, admin, warpz, team

This is just a quick update. As you can probably tell, at least, you should be able too. We've successfully created and interigated a new theme - which is also compatible with most mobile devices. But, first and foremost, our best accomplishment of this week: Making a compatible iPhone & iPod touch theme. Of course, their are bugs and what not - but were half way there...!
